About

Hi, I'm Tae!

I started getting into video making in middle school when I watched a really good travel video one of my friend's friends made. Its artistry inspired me.

When I joined my school newspaper in high school, I met many talented, hardworking people who inspired me to do so myself.

I was one of the previous editors-in-chief of Newton South's online newspaper, Denebola. I received an All-State Journalist Award in 2023 from the Massachusetts Press Association and was featured as a finalist for the School of Visual Art's 2023 "We The Place" photography competition.

I also worked as a photographer for The Observer, the newspaper at Fordham College at Lincoln Center, and am now on The Daily Tar Heel at UNC Chapel Hill.
